The people and the platform behind Bifrost.
Who made Bifrost?
Bifrost is built by Shrapnel Works Ltd — an independent UK game and software development studio. We build server-management platforms, moderation tools, and community-focused services, and Bifrost is our flagship platform.
We're players and server admins ourselves, and we built Bifrost to solve the problems we kept running into while running our own communities.
Can I run Bifrost myself?
Bifrost is a fully hosted software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform — you simply log in and start configuring. There's nothing to install, and you don't need your own server (no VPS, bare metal, or hosting required). We run and scale the infrastructure, handle the RCON connectivity, and keep everything up to date, so you can be up and running in minutes.
Will you connect Bifrost to the game I'm developing?
Quite possibly — and we'd love to talk. Bifrost is designed to work with any online multiplayer game that supports RCON (Valve or custom), or any administration protocol that can be reached over TCP/UDP. If your game exposes a protocol we can connect to, we can almost certainly integrate, and we can transform our data to meet your needs provided we have the data you use.
